Halloween in Madison

On Friday, October 31, the Village Shoppes of Madison (on County Line Road) will host a family friendly, safe and fun Halloween with trick or treating, games, activities, costume contests (including a pet one too), prizes, live music and more!  Register for the costume contests between 5 and 6:15 at Grounded Coffee Table!

Fall Expo

Hope Presbyterian Playschool is holding a Fall Expo featuring crafters, company reps, food trucks, bounce houses, raffles, games, and a Halloween costume contests for both kids and adults!  Huntsville Animal Services and Friends of Rescue will also be there with adoptable pets!  The event is free and will be held November 1 from 10am until 3pm at the church (located at 10001 Bailey Cove in Huntsville)

Tree Planting Festival

Join in Huntsville's first Tree Planting Festival at John Hunt Park on Saturday, November 1 from 8am until noon.  There'll be free Japanese Maples, face painting, inflatables for the kids, popcorn, cotton candy and leaf learning activities!  Tree plantings will be held during the festival for anyone wanting to help plant trees in the park. The City Arborist will give tips on planting, placement and pruning trees.  The event will be held rain or shine!  For more information, call Operation Green Team at (256) 532-5326.

Veteran's Dinner

The Redstone-Huntsville Chapter of the Association of the United States Army is hosting a dinner honoring Veteran's who served in ALL branches of the armed forces in the active, reserve and National Guard components. No Place Like Home 5K

CASA needs your help with the 2nd Annual 5K race and efforts to raise awareness for the needs of seniors and homebound in our community.  The "No Place Like Home 5K" will be held at Vencore, Inc in Cummings Research Park on November 22.  Registration is $20 until 10/31, then $25 until race day.
